However thecompany spokesperson declined to name the upcoming budget ultraportable, believed to be the Inspiron 910, and described the leaked specifications seen so far as “still pretty much rumor and speculation”.

Gadget enthusiast sites have been leaking details on the device, expected to be called the Inspiron Mini 9, for the last couple of weeks. The launch date could be as early as Thursday.

The Intel Atom based Dell Inspiron 910 netbook features are supposed to include a 8.9 inch screen with 1024x600px resolution, 512MB/1GB RAM, 4GB/8GB/16GB SSD storage, 1.3MP camera, and 4-cell battery. Prices will start from $299 upwards.
